Over the Memorial Day weekend, we were asked by a local Kia dealership to cover a new car giveaway event. While we were there, we were able to get some aerial footage of their inventory for future use, as well. This shoot was tricky due to the volume of people and non-participating vehicles traversing the lot but, by sticking to corners and setting up flight lines with the help of the dealership staff, we were able to get some good footage without disrupting their customers.
The best part about a small shoot like this is the number of questions asked by the folks walking by. When you’ve done this work long enough, you forget that so many people still have the basic questions about drones such as “How high can it go?” or “How much did that thing cost?” or “Do you have to be licensed to fly that thing?” But we love answering questions and helping the general population to see the good that drones can do in our communities rather than the bad that so many believe they bring.
All-in-all, it was a short job, a good time, and a satisfied client!
